It was a very proud moment when the Green Flag was raised in Scoil Naomh Molaise. This was down to the sterling work of the Green School Committee under the stewardship of Ms Harvey. They gave a very informative presentation of the journey to being awarded the Green Flag including audits of the rubbish being placed in general waste and the recycling bin. Iniatives to reduce our dependency on blue roll and the introduction of Maintenance Mondays to clean up the litter in the yard and the playground across the road. They also acknowledged the help and support they received from our very hard working caretaker Thomas Kerins and the participation of all the pupils in the school that helped to achieve their Green School objectives.
