Thank you Thomas!

After fifteen years of dedicated service to Scoil Naomh Molaise, we bid an emotional farewell to our caretaker Thomas Kerins. Thomas exemplified our school motto: 'Treat others as you would like to be treated' Always a friendly word with a twinkle in his eye and no task too big or too small, he made life in Scoil Naomh Molaise easy for us all. Its now time for Thomas to enjoy a well earned retirement. He will be sorely missed but with his daughter Louise as principal, his daughter-in-law Hilary as one of our SNA's and his grandchildren in the school, in truth everyone in Scoil Naomh Molaise was treated like family by him, we know he won't be a stranger! Go n-éirí an t-adh leat Thomas agus míle buíochas.

Welcome

Scoil Naomh Molaise is a co-educational, primary school with a Catholic Ethos located at the heart of the village of Grange in North Sligo. At present, we have 16 teachers and 10 SNAs on our staff, and 277 pupils attend our school. Our special class opened in September 2025. We are very proud of our happy, caring and inclusive learning environment and the many varied learning opportunities that are afforded to children at Scoil Naomh Molaise.

We hope our website provides you with an insight into the teaching and learning which takes place in our school on a daily basis. As you explore our website, you will find lots of information about the school including our ethos, school policies, an up-to-date calendar, school activities, news updates, and much more.

We are very proud of our school and we hope that parents, pupils and members of our school community will be frequent visitors to our enjoyable and informative website.
